MHK says some residents are struggling to obtain insurance
Government help for Laxey residents no longer able to obtain flood insurance following the recent damage caused to properties on Glen Road will be discussed at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine will ask whether there are plans for a reinsurance scheme to be introduced on the Island.
October's heavy rain came just four years after the same area was last flooded.
