MHK raises issue of community hubs in House of Keys
Ensuring the public has face to face access to government services outside Douglas.
That's a topic Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will raise at next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
He'll ask what the government's policy is on community hubs, such as the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal.
Mr Hooper believes offering services in other towns would cut down on the need for some to travel into Douglas:
Lessons learned after snow day confusion
More than 100 firearms surrendered

'No tangible positives' achieved by public sector integrity line, says trade union
