Should the morning-after pill be sold 'off the shelf?'

Dr Alex Allinson says concept is a move forward

Reproductive health is handled better on the Island than it is in the UK.

That's according to Dr Alex Allinson MHK, who's been speaking on the Mannin Line about health services for women in the Isle of Man.

It was prompted by a report by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, which recommends the morning-after pill should be sold straight off the shelf.

Dr Allinson says the concept is a move forward in women's access to medical services, but says pharmacist's advice is still vital:
