Police say a road closure in Onchan yesterday (Monday) was caused by a cyclist who fell ill.
The incident happened at 1.30pm on Whitebridge Hill when the man, who was cycling towards Laxey, became unwell and hit a hedge.
He was taken to Noble's Hospital by ambulance and the scene was closed to traffic for around half an hour.
Police are thanking motorists for their patience while they dealt with the incident.
There is no word yet on the man's condition.
