A £250,000 investment at an Island industrial estate has been hailed a ‘significant development’.
The old Clucas' Laundry is to become the corporate headquarters of the Strand Group in Tromode.
The facilities management company employs 130 people and the Gateway Project is considered a flagship development.
With further investment planned for 2015 and beyond, group chairman John Hellowell says it’s the biggest scheme undertaken in its 25 year history.
