A 34 year-old man accused of murder, following a fire in Demesne Road, Douglas in March, has made another appearance in court.
High Bailiff Michael Moyle heard police enquiries were continuing and further adjourned the case, remanding Simon Paul Leece in custody until June 9.
The defendant, of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas, is also charged with offences of arson, destroying property with intent to endanger life and damaging property with intent to endanger life.
The fire in Demesne Road, in which builder Terry Losh lost his life, was on March 22.
The other charges followed further fires in Clarke Street and Peveril Street on the same day, and a blaze in Bucks Road on March the 21.
