Expert provides opinions on women in Tynwald
There's a simple solution to encouraging more women into politics on the Isle of Man - that's according to an expert in Manx Public Law.
Professor Peter Edge is a lecturer at Oxford Brookes University - he's conducted a review of Lord Lisvane's recomendations to Tynwald, which was published on the UK Constitutional Law Association online forum.
In it, is a scrutiny the election of the Chief Minister, the role of LegCo, departmental membership, and the need for diversity in the House of Keys.
Professor Edge says he has an easy fix to establishing more women in politics.
