Emergency services on scene for three hours
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision which saw a car come off the road.
The vehicle came to rest above the water line at the bottom of the cliff on Marine Drive in Douglas, at approximately 11.15pm last night (17 August).
Fire crews and coastguard remained in attendance for three hours as they recovered the vehicle.
The single occupant had escaped but required assistance to get to a place of safety.
