Eliminating all risk impossible, says Chief Minister
Six Steam Packet workers have tested positive for coronavirus since surveillance testing was introduced last month.
More than 250 swabs have been taken from crew members at the start and end of their seven-day shift pattern, with six returning positive results.
Sailings had to be cancelled last week after two employees were high risk contacts of a colleague who was found to have Covid-19 after undergoing routine screening.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle says short of stopping all sailings, there's no way to completely eliminate risk:
Fuel costs 'likely to rise' amid Middle East conflict
Ramsey Commissioners redacted information 'without justification' in FoI response
Death of MGP competitor deemed accidental by inquest
Flooding caused by 'sealed off' gulley, says Douglas Council
