Guilty plea to care home assaults
A cleaner from Ramsey who repeatedly assaulted a young female colleague has had his case adjourned.
Edmondo Cataroja Mannis was working at the Kingsreach Care Home in Ramsey when the offences took place, beginning in December last year.
He pleaded guilty to all three charges of indecent assault at Douglas Courthouse this week.
The court heard how Mannis kissed the victim, who was 16 at the time, in a cupboard, and later groped her.
The 58-year-old, who's from Balleigh Park in Ramsey, then tried to cover his tracks, changing his version of events in police interview.
He'll next appear before the court on 23 May.
