Chief minister reflects of role of social media in politics
The real views of the public aren't always reflected on social media.
That's from Chief Minister Alfred Cannan, who's been reflecting on his time in the role.
How politicians interact with the public and each other on social media has been a talking point throughout this administration.
Mr Cannan says he's found the views expressed online are often stronger than those people voice in person:
Mr Cannan has announced he'll be seeking re-election in September's House of Keys General Election. The other candidates for Ayre & Michael are Julia Bell, Stephen Broad, Phil Corkill, Steve Curphey, Tim Johnston, Mary Phillips and Paul Weatherall.
