Union head gives verdict
Unite the Union says a soft Brexit is what's best for the Isle of Man - and not an 'acrimonious divorce'.
Island head Eric Holmes was speaking after the UK general election on Thursday.
He says a new UK government approaching Brussels with too much vigour could damage our national interests.
The Tories failed to gain a majority, and will now need the Northern Irish Democratic Unionist Party's 10 seats to make up their coalition quota.
