After sitting in Douglas Harbour for nine years, the fate of the Solway Harvester has finally been decided.
The Scottish fishing vessel is to be scrapped, but it's not known when that will happen, because it needs to be available as evidence in an ongoing court case in Scotland.
The scallop dredger sank off the coast of the Isle of Man in January 2000, claiming the lives of all seven crewmen.
Director of Harbours Mike Brew says putting the vessel on the seabed was considered but it was decided not to be the best option:
