Infrastructure Minister David Cretney says he hopes Tynwald will back a new blueprint for development in the South of the Island this month.
On Tuesday next week, he’ll bring the Southern Area Plan forward for approval – after almost five years of work and a public inquiry.
The plan sets out which parts of the Island are suitable for development, and which parts need protecting.
Mr Cretney says it’s an all-or-nothing vote, and Tynwald members won’t be able to pick and choose which parts they agree with.
