Prosecution 'no longer in the public interest'
A man from the north of the Island won't have to attend court, after an allegation against him was dropped by prosecutors.
Seventy-one-year-old Charles Thomas Slater of Jurby East Road in Jurby faced one count of speeding, said to have taken place on 3 March.
Prosecution advocate Hazel Carroon told the bench the charge had been reviewed and it was no longer in the public interest to continue the prosecution.
She withdrew the charge.
