Race organisers say evening forecast better than first predicted
The three-lap Sportbike TT Race 1 has been brought back into today's TT race schedule.
In a new update, race organisers say the weather outlook for tonight (2 June) is 'improving better than had been originally forecast'.
As a result, the Sportbike event is due to take place at 6.30pm during the evening slot which will see roads around the Snaefell Mountain Course close at 6pm.
This is in addition to the three-lap Supersport TT Race 1 which is scheduled to start this afternoon at 3pm.
For that afternoon race, roads around the course are due to shut imminently at 2pm.
As of now, today's Isle of Man TT Races schedule is as follows:
2pm - All roads closed around the TT Mountain Course
3pm - Supersport TT Race 1 (3 Laps)
5pm - Roads around the course reopen EXCEPT for Mountain Section
6pm - All roads around TT Mountain Course close again
6.30pm - Sportbike TT Race 1 (3 Laps)
9.30pm - All roads open EXCEPT Mountain Section
10.30pm - All roads reopened (no later than)
Just one TT race scheduled following further delay
