Commissioners purchase football and volleyball gear
Beach goers in Port Erin will be welcomed by some new additions this summer.
Port Erin Commissioners has purchased a volleyball net and football goals that'll be anchored on the beach close to the Bay Hotel.
Nick Watterson, the chairman of the local authority, says buying the equipment was a great way of encouraging people to use 'the best beach on the Island'.
He's asking anyone interested in arranging formal competitions to contact the commissioners beforehand.
