Brands and fashion at Douglas outlet
Sports retailer SportsDirect.com says its flagship Isle of Man store will open in Douglas next week (w/c 14 Aug).
The retailer purchased Strand Shopping Centre in July 2016, and work to transform the interior, previously housing individual shop units, has been underway since the spring.
SportsDirect.com has described its latest outlet, covering 19,000 square feet, as a 'new concept megastore' which will include a dedicated area for fashion retailer USC.
The shop will sell branded sportswear, footwear and sports equipment, with dedicated areas for sports from football, fitness and fishing to cycling, racquets and horse riding.
The company has yet to announce the date of the store opening.
