Past and present members of staff at the prison in Victoria Road, Douglas have had a get together, to talk about old times and say goodbye to the old building.
Those who attended included Norman Quilliam, who is writing a book which will include material about the first transfer of ten prisoners from the old jail at Castle Rushen to Victoria Road in 1891.
Also present was Mike Corkill, one of the last people, apart from inmates, to have 'Her Majesty's Prison, Victoria Road, Douglas' as his home address.
