Ashford responds to senior resignation after just two months in role
The health minister has responded to the resignation of the man in charge of reforming health and care services in the Isle of Man:
John Spicer took up a two-year contract with the Cabinet Office, as health and care transformation director in October.
However he resigned from the job after just two months, with personal reasons being cited as the cause.
Speculation has surrounded the move, after two of the DHSC's most senior staff stood down last May.
Minister David Ashford says the department is working hard to improve its culture:
Bus drivers to hold off taking industrial action while talks continue
Regulation of Health and Social Care Bill pushed back to 2027
Manx patients will be contacted if appointments are impacted by UK strikes
Patient taken to hospital after medical emergency on board Manxman
