Hopes event will yield new business
The Isle of Man's first enterprise expo opens in Douglas on Wednesday morning.
The event aims to establish the Island as a uniquely business-friendly location - for start-ups, firms ready to expand and companies keen to relocate.
It will also see the launch of the Manx government's £50 million Enterprise Development Scheme - to expand opportunities and boost jobs.
The choice on offer to 1,000 expected delegates includes panel discussions, pitch-it sessions, keynotes and master classes.
A team from the Department of Economic Development will be on hand to discuss the grants and help available for incoming firms.
DED minister Laurence Skelly says it's all about promoting the message: Isle of Man - Where You Can: (play audio)
