Constabulary recruitment drive starts Monday
The starting salary to join the Island's police force is going up from 1 September.
The basic wage is now £24,177, with the chance to reach £40,000 within six years.
It comes as the constabulary starts a recruitment drive on Monday for new officers and transferee constables.
The police's budget received a £3 million boost from Treasury for the current financial year.
Presentation evenings for potential new recruits will be held at the press centre at the TT Grandstand on 9 and 16 September.
If anyone would like to get in touch in the meantime, they're asked to send enquiries to police jobs@gov.im.
