Health Minister believes powers will need to stay in place
Health Minister David Ashford believes the state of emergency will need to stay in place beyond the end of this week.
The current provision for emergency powers is in place until Friday.
Speaking at last night’s media briefing, Mr Ashford said he believes an extension is needed as the Island slowly eases out of lockdown:
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
Be aware of phishing this time of the year
