The infrastructure minister says a consultation on proposed 20mph zones in residential areas on the Isle of Man will be one 'of the biggest engagement and consultation' pieces the government has ever done.
Currently, Douglas and Onchan residents are being asked for their views on the roll-out of the scheme in their areas.
A drop-in session is being held at the Sea Terminal today with the minister between 1pm and 4pm today (20 June).
Michelle Haywood says Tynwald approved for 20mph zones but where they will be enforced will only be determined after gathering the results of the public consultation.
Addressing the 'confusion' around the erection of signposts going up, she adds her department followed the statutory processes but admits more could have been done:
