The Department of Infrastructure is urging World Cup fans to get behind their team, but not the wheel.
A new campaign asks football followers whether they want to end up watching the games in prison or hospital, as a result of drinking and driving.
Cards containing the message, as well as dates and times of matches, will be handed out as the department teams up with pub landlords and the police.
