No injuries reported, but carriages and windows damaged
Carriages and windows were damaged on one of the Island's steam trains when a tree came down on New Year's Eve.
The incident happened at Ballabeg, affecting the dining car service on Saturday.
The Department of Infrastructure says a repair team attended the scene within 30 minutes of the incident, removed the tree and the train returned to Douglas. No injuries were reported.
As a result, two brunch trains had to be cancelled, while the Magicians Tea Party service will be moved to the Ticket Hall.
Customers impacted by the cancellations and changes are being contacted directly.
