Stella keen to save Junk empire

Popular attraction set to close in October

The founder of a popular Island tourist attraction is hoping it can be saved from closure.

It was announced yesterday that Jurby Junk is shutting its doors in October, after more than four decades in business.

Owner and founder Stella Pixton says it's due to spiralling rent costs.

The site, which spans two warehouses, contains at least 'a million' items of bric-a-brac and literature, according to her own estimates.

Stella says she's now open to offers - and it needn't be the end for Jurby Junk:
