Still hopes for racing today

Sidecar race now scheduled for 5pm

It's now hoped that the Sure Sidecar Race 1 can get underway at 5pm.

Organisers have had to change their schedule again due to the high winds and the helicopter crash close to the 33rd milestone.

The Road between Barrule Park Ramsey and the Bungalow will close from 3.15pm and the Mountain closes entirely between the Bungalow and Creg ny Baa.

The rest of the course will close from 4pm.

It's hoped the RST Parade Lap can take place at 4.30 before the sidecar race, which will be followed by two laps qualifying for the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport classes.

There will then be two qualifying laps for the Lightweight and Supersport classes and one lap for the TT Zero class.

It's hoped the roads can open around the course from around 8.20pm

Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson
