Appeal for help after crash in Port Erin
Police have asked for the public's help after a stolen Range Rover crashed into one of their marked vehicles.
A black Evoque was taken from Port Erin in the early hours of this morning – it travelled to Douglas, and back, causing damage to signs and cones on Richmond Hill en-route.
As officers attempted to stop the car in Port Erin it collided with their police vehicle – no-one was injured.
The two offenders then dumped the stolen Range Rover at the back of the Cherry Orchard and ran off.
Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact Castletown Police Station or Crimestoppers.
