First Island pride festival to take place later this year
Two of the founders of the gay rights charity Stonewall will visit the Island later this year.
Isle of Pride has announced Lord Cashman and Lisa Powers MBE will take part in a Q&A and event showing films looking at the history of LGBTQ+ issues.
It will be one of a number of activities being held over a series of days in June.
The charity's chief executive Clare Barber MHK says pride events should be educational as well as fun:
New Year Honours for six Isle of Man residents
Island enjoyed 'reasonable' summer despite no record-breaking temperatures
Head of Ambulance Service 'really privileged' to receive New Year Honour
Chief Fire Officer 'overwhelmed' after receiving New Year Honour
