A number of roads have been closed this morning due to fallen trees.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say it's due to Storm Chandra.
Stuart Davison says the Island will continue to see gusts of between 60-65 miles an hour for the next few hours:
ROADS
A number of roads have been closed this morning due to fallen trees.
It includes: Ballacraine to Douglas Road Corner, Patrick Road, the Switchback and Lezayre Road to Sulby.
The Mountain Road is also closed due to high winds.
A tree has fallen onto cars on Mona Drive
Lezayre Road from Ramsey to Ginger Hall, Main Rd Ballaugh to Bishops Court and the Switchback to St Johns is also impacted.
BUSES
A number of bus services have been diverted:
Service 5/6 is diverted from Sulby Bridge via St Jude’s to Ramsey
Service 5C is unable to serve Ballig Bridge to Glen Helen at this time. All services will be diverted via the coast road.
Service X3 due to the closure on the mountain, all services are diverted via Laxey to Douglas.
Service 4 Patrick Road is closed, all services diverted via St Johns and Peel
TRAVEL
All Steam Packet sailings scheduled for today have been cancelled. Meanwhile, at the airport, there's a warning high winds may affect operations and cause disruption.
Already, the Loganair 7am and 7.05am flights to Liverpool and Manchester, respectively, have been cancelled.
The easyJet 11.05am and 11.20am flights to London Gatwick and Liverpool have been delayed to after 2pm.
