A piece of street sculpture with a strong Norse theme has been moved to a more suitable location.
The work, based on the prow of a Viking longship, used to be on display in the Town Square, also known as the former Villiers site.
It's been in storage for about a year, but now an ideal space has become available across the road from the two market buildings, on North Quay Douglas.
The sculpture hasn't yet been properly installed, but Chris Pycroft from the Douglas Douglas Development Partnership says, once it's in position, it will be very impressive:
