Fire crews called out at midnight
A fluorescent strip light caused a fire at a hotel in Douglas last night.
Firefighters were called out to the Balmoral Hotel on Loch Promenade at around midnight.
Once the light was identified as the cause, the power was isolated and the light replaced by an electrician.
Fire crews spent around 30 minutes at the scene.
