Fourteen Manx students received the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award at a special event in Onchan yesterday (April 8).
The youngsters - aged between 16 and 25 - had to complete the Volunteering, Skills, Physical, Expedition and Residential categories to achieve the honour.
His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood presented the students with their awards at Government House.
Education Minister Tim Crookall was also present and says the scheme develops great life skills as well as helping the community:
