Students work together to beat cyber bullying

High school pupils in the Isle of Man have been learning how to avoid cyber bullying, and how to help fellow students who become victims of it.

All the youngsters taking part in training sessions are already in their school's peer support systems, where they help and advise fellow students who have problems with bullying.

The training, at Castle Rushen High School, was given by Childline.

Training sessions have also been provided on peer mediation, which teaches teenagers how to get along with each other and avoid disagreements.

Charlotte Faragher and Tom Kinrade from Ballakermeen hope the sessions will improve their ability to help others:
