A prestigious medical conference in the Isle of Man yesterday (Wednesday) focused on the role of nurses in ensuring patient safety.
The 10th anniversary Small Communities Conference for Nursing and Midwifery attracted more than 140 delegates, from the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and Germany.
The Department of Health hosted the two-day event, at the Keyll Darree Education and Training Centre in Braddan, with a programme which included presentations from each of the five countries.
Health visitor in the Isle of Man Nicole Hara says the event was a great opportunity for health care workers to meet and exchange ideas:
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
Be aware of phishing this time of the year
