Inspiring innovation
It's time to celebrate creative industries as a sector harnessed by every business on the Isle of Man.
That's the message from Kate Brier who is helping to coordinate a range of functions in Douglas Market Hall over the summer.
MakeMarket: Creative Industries Takeover is an extension of events organised by the Department of Economic Development since December.
The aim is to prompt cross-trade working in design, crafts, art and music between now and mid-September.
It's expected to inspire innovation here, as Kate explained:
Boutique hotel planned for Peel
Former TT rider's family at risk of losing house after rejected insurance pay out
Dog wash machine planned for promenade
Businesses can bloom if people support local
