World renowned ensemble was due to perform at Villa Marina
A concert with the Hallé Orchestra, due to perform in Douglas this summer, has been cancelled.
It had already been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, after the initial performance was planned for June last year.
The Isle of Man Arts Council and the Hallé have issued a statement, which says 'current border restrictions and the ongoing Covid-19 crisis' means they've regrettably cancelled the event.
It was set to feature special guest cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
Full refunds are being given to those affected and the arts council hopes to organise an alternative for 2022.
