It’s Superbike Sunday!
After former world champion Tim Reeves and his Manx passenger Dan Sayle’s victory in yesterday’s opening Sure Sidecar TT, attention this afternoon (Sun) turns to the Dainese Superbike race.
That’s due to start at 2.15 with Bruce Anstey, Michael Dunlop, Michael Rutter, Guy Martin, Cameron Donald and Gary Johnson among those expected to battle it out for places on the podium.
There’s no doubt though who will be the man to beat!
Yet again, 19-time TT winner John McGuinness is strongly fancied.
After a practice week disrupted by weather, McGuinness says the decision to postpone the race 24 hours to allow for more practice time is common sense.
The Mountain Road is due to close at one o’clock with the rest of the course shutting at one thirty.
Roads are scheduled to be re-opened at 5pm.
