Tesco offering more locally grown produce
A Manx vegetable producer has told Manx Radio it's agreed a deal with a supermarket to help sell its surplus of stock.
At the Royal Agricultural Show earlier this month, the Manx National Farmers' Union handed out free potatoes in the hopes of 'embarrassing' supermarkets to offer more local produce.
Allansons, which grew the potatoes, says Tesco has now stepped in to sell more of its vegetables.
