Support for Madeleine's family

People in the Isle of Man are showing their support for the family of four year old Madeleine McCann, who disappeared while on holiday in Portugal earlier this month.

The village green at Rothley in Leicestershire, where the family lives, has been turned into a shrine, and the yellow ribbons which have become the symbol of the campaign for her safe return have now appeared at locations in the Island.

They include a gate between the TT grandstand and the bridge over Glencrutchery Road, Douglas and, reflecting the choice of location at Rothley, the war memorial on Douglas promenade.
