
Members of an 'invisible but vital' workforce in the Isle of Man are being offered support to help them cope.
It's estimated one in ten people on the Island have the role of full or part-time carer for an elderly, sick or disabled relative or friend.
St John Ambulance is launching a free programme of support for local carers, covering issues ranging from first aid and falls prevention to stress management and memory loss.
There will be a drop-in session at the organisation's headquarters tomorrow (Thursday), between 10am and 12 noon.
