Family of 14-year-old said DHSC's duty of care ended when he died
Bereaved families will be given guidance thanks to the family of 14 year-old boy, and their struggle to make arrangements after he lost his life.
His mum started 'Applause for Jake Watson'; helping the Department of Health and Social Care and Hospice Isle of Man launch a Relative Support Service.
Leanna Watson says the DHSC's duty of care ended when he died - and she found making funeral arrangements difficult to pin down without direction.
She says how the service makes the aftermath of loss easier:
Footage circulating on social media 'now an active investigation'
Annual Tynwald Day celebrations to get underway
Sharp rise in data breaches on Island, says Information Commissioner's Office
