Survey information skewed says naturalist

Importance of natural heritage ignored

An Island-based naturalist believes information which may come from an online survey of life on the Isle of Man will be "inaccurate and skewed"

Island Global Research regularly surveys the populations of the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and other small nations.

Its latest survey asks respondents how they rate local facilities such as museums, sporting grounds and nightclubs and gauges opinion on what sort of attractions government should be investing in.

However, Tim Earl says he's concerned the questions don't reflect the importance of the Island's natural heritage and could provide misleading information to those looking to plan for future generations

You can find the survey for yourself via the IGR website.
