A former gymnastics coach, convicted on four counts of indecent assault, has been given a twelve month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
Sixty-two year-old Harold Volante, of Cooil Close, Douglas has been placed on the Sex Offenders' Register, and must comply with the terms of a supervision order.
He was found guilty following a four week trial earlier this year, but was cleared of a further four charges of indecent assault on young girls.
Volante was sentenced at Douglas courthouse (pictured) at lunchtime today.
