Contact tracing continuing after Steam Packet index case
Swabbing and laboratory teams ‘stand ready’ to test and trace people who may be caught up in the new Covid-19 cluster.
That’s the message from the government which says it’s working quickly to identify and contact individuals.
A list of 'low-risk' locations has now been published.
Seven new cases were identified yesterday – sparked from an index case detected in a Steam Packet employee.
15 people who have already been identified through the tracing procedure have been instructed to self-isolate for up to 21 days regardless of the status of their test.
