Select Committee hears evidence
A couple who've faced a five year legal battle to renovate their home gave evidence to a Tynwald Select Committee yesterday (Thu).
Philip and Kirree Jenkins' case was picked up after they presented a Petition for Redress to Tynwald in 2014.
They say the confusion and impracticalities they've faced over their property in the south of the Island demonstrate 'deficiencies' in the planning system.
Speaking after the hearing yesterday, Mrs. Jenkins said a rethink in policy is needed:
Lessons learned after snow day confusion
More than 100 firearms surrendered
Planning application to extend TT hospitality tent for new Food and Drink Festival submitted
'No tangible positives' achieved by public sector integrity line, says trade union
