Talks continue on railway workers' jobs

The 22 manual jobs which are under threat in the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure are being discussed again this afternoon (Friday).

The Unite union and the Employees Side of the Whitley Council are meeting with the department's chief executive for further talks.

The potential losses would hit railway craftsmen and maintenance workers based at Banks Circus in Douglas
