Ashford confirms discussion is ongoing with trustees
Talks are ongoing about what will happen to the Corrin Memorial Home in Peel.
The Department of Health and Social Care has started engaging with the trustees of the former residential home.
Twenty one residents were forced to relocate to new accommodation in July after a decision was made that the home was not financially viable.
However Minister David Ashford says there could be progress with the site, on Derby Road, in the future:
Reservoirs all full despite hot spell
Meningitis B vaccination scheme to be rolled out on-Island
Balthane Roundabout plans on hold until 2027/28 as costs rise
Port St Mary lifeboat launched to rescue stricken fishing vessel
