
The Isle of Man has signed a tax information agreement with the Republic of Ireland.
Treasury Minster Allan Bell met future prime minister Brian Cowen (pictured) in Dublin yesterday to finalise the agreement, which is the first the republic has ever signed with a small jurisdiction.
The agreement will mean the two governments share tax information and solve problems over double taxation.
It’s the latest in a series of information agreements the Island has entered into, and Mr Bell says each one does a great deal to help its economy:
